Abstract:
I met Phil Ferguson in 1952 and we saw each other at every ACI convention thereafter. I was impressed by his record: he had a dozen lines in the ACI Directory which in those days was like a Who's Who in ACI. He was a kind and gentle man and we became good friends. I am greatly pleased to give a lecture in his honor.
