Abstract:
Marmot Dam is a diversion structure that is part of Bull Run hydroelectric project located 30 miles southeast of Portland, Oregon, near the town of Sandy. It is a 50 ft high, 100 ft long RCC dam build in 1989 to replace the original 1912 timber crib dam when the aging structure showed deterioration and settlement and created a flood hazard.
