Abstract:
Concrete signs use to be cast in molds that were produced by workers using a hot wire to hand-cut foam shapes. Because the wire only cuts in a straight line, the pieces were limited to 2-D. Sign Art Graphics overcame these limitations by using the same technology that was already being used to produce architectural models: a CNC router; CAM software; and specialty 3-D modeling software.
