Abstract:
This study investigates the impact of mixture proportions, vibration technique, specimen thickness, and test duration on the results of the Rapid Chloride Permeability Test (RCPT). RCPT is often used for the assessment of field and laboratory concrete permeability for concrete made with and without silica fume. Concrete age, specimen thickness, w/cm, and silica fume dosage are highlighted.
