Abstract:
Change is inevitable. However, it is the rapid rate of change that often becomes disruptive. This is why, all of a sudden, we are confronted with the present situation. Our current ways of economic and industrial development seem to be unsustainable. Population growth, urbanization, technology choices, and their environmental impact are unquestionably among the key forces that are shaping today’s world.
