Abstract:
The reinforced concrete arched hangar at Limestone Air Force Base is noteworthy for its size, being one of the largest of this type yet constructed in this country. The superstructure is composed of a thin reinforced arched shell, shaped like an inverted catenary. Construction procedures are described.
