Abstract:
The tesing and results obtained on a 990 6 x 12-in. concrete cylinders stram cured for various periods and at temperatures ranging from 100 to 200 F are discussed. Strength results are given for ages ranging from 6 hours to 28 days and strengths of companion soecimens moist cured at 70 F are given whenever possible. The information presented was obtained for the Bureau of Reclaimation for writing specifications covering the steam curing of precast units such as irragation pipe.
