Abstract:
In the Part I article,1 published in the May 2002 issue of Concrete International (CI), I discussed creep as a property of concrete. I also described several types of problems caused by creep in various types of structures. I now propose to consider, in a descriptive manner, ways of dealing with the consequences of creep in design and construction. .
