Abstract:
Describes testing of cast stone (a type of architectural precast concrete) specimens subjected to freezing and thawing in accordance with ASTM C 666. Air entrainment improved the physical properties and the freeze-thaw durability of the specimens, but did not prevent the deterioration of molded finish cast stone specimens.
