Abstract:
Guidance is provided for predicting later age (28-day) strengths using STM C 918, "Developing Early Age Compression Test Values and rejecting Later Age Strengths", and in interpreting test results through examples. ASTM C 918 provides an early indication a concrete’s probable strength. Additionally, it also suggests how projected controls may be initiated before 28-day data is available.
