Abstract:
Although wet-mix shotcrete has proven to be an ideal alternative to conventional concrete in numerous applications, its further success is sometimes hindered by a few common misconceptions. The article discusses some of those fallacies and presents corresponding facts. It also explains why successful shotcreting requires consideration of all desired performance criteria and project needs.
