ACI Chapters facilitate the exchange of technical knowledge, networking, and the delivery of certification programs, promoting best practices in concrete design and construction through local meetings, educational sessions, and competitions.
The American Concrete Institute (ACI) added 20 Professional and Student Chapters to its growing list of domestic and international Chapters throughout 2025. This growth strengthens ACI’s global network and reinforces the critical role that Chapters play in advancing concrete knowledge, promoting professional development, and fostering local industry engagement.
To date, there are more than 90 Professional Chapters and 350 Student Chapters worldwide. Through the ACI Chapter network, Members gain technical knowledge and develop leadership skills while expanding their personal and professional networks. ACI Chapters consist of architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, educators, material suppliers, equipment suppliers, owners, and students.
“ACI Chapters are the foundation of our global community,” said Maria Juenger, president, ACI. “They connect our mission to local markets, foster collaboration among practitioners, and ensure that ACI resources, standards, and education are accessible and impactful at the regional and local level.”
The addition of 20 Chapters in 2025 reflects growing demand for localized technical expertise and professional connections within the concrete industry. These new Chapters expand ACI’s presence across key regions, supporting infrastructure development, workforce advancement, and the consistent use of best practices worldwide.
“Strong Chapters mean stronger professionals and more resilient communities,” said John Nehasil, senior managing director, Certification and Chapters, ACI. “By investing in Chapter growth, ACI is investing in the future of the concrete industry.”
