The center provides a location for the Chapter to provide access to all ACI certification programs and educational seminars.
The American Concrete Institute (ACI), in collaboration with the ACI Northern California and Western Nevada Chapter, announced the opening of a new Chapter Certification Center in Sacramento, Calif. With the center, the Chapter can now provide access to all ACI certification programs and educational seminars. Additionally, the Center is designed and equipped to support the Chapter's other important and strategic initiatives, including Chapter events, Student Chapter Competitions, and meetings of the Board of Directors and Chapter Committees.
The 6,500-square-foot facility has a spacious classroom and a comprehensive laboratory for in-person training and examinations. Three full-time ACI employees will staff the Certification Center. Certification sessions hosted by the Center will commence in January 2026 and be held on weekdays throughout the year. Saturday sessions will be scheduled as needed to accommodate demand.

“By creating a centralized, purpose-built facility, ACI and the ACI Northern California and Western Nevada Chapter deliver enhanced access to certification programs,” said John Nehasil, senior managing director, Certification and Chapters, ACI. “This center will streamline professional education activities and testing for professionals across the region while serving as a hub for networking, development, and growth.”
A Grand Opening and Open House for the Chapter Certification Center will be held on Wednesday, January 7th, 2026, from 2:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. For more information, visit aci-ncawnv.org.
