The Gulf Organization for Research and Development (GORD), headquartered in Doha, Qatar, and the American Concrete Institute (ACI), recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on sustainability, education, and certification activities within the concrete industry in Qatar and the region.
The MOU was formalized by Michael J. Paul, ACI President, and Dr. Yousef Alhorr, Founding Chairman of GORD, on February 12 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
ACI’s international activities are a major force in creating and maintaining a worldwide community of individuals and organizations interested in supplying and accessing ACI’s vast knowledge on concrete. Cooperating closely with GORD and other international partners results in benefits for the global concrete community. ACI now has signed 75 partner agreements around the world.
