The ACI Ontario Chapter invites members to dinner and a seminar with Printerra Inc., highlighting Canada’s first approved structural 3D Concrete Printed (3DCP) building and the world’s largest net-zero 3DCP project.

Presented by Marcos Silveira, Ph.D., P.Eng. and Carlos Jiménez Miranda, MASc., P.Eng., the session will explore the engineering, material-science, and regulatory pathway behind what is now recognized as the first 3DCP building in Canada to be approved under Alternative Solutions with the 3DCP walls serving as the entire structural system.

Attendees will gain insight into the Additive Construction Reinforced Wall System (ACRWS), the structural typology that enabled the building’s approval, the testing program, and the 18-month research program evaluating pumpability, strength, extrusion stability, cold-weather performance, and hardened mechanical properties across multiple micro-concrete formulations.

This seminar offers a rare look at how this project demonstrates that 3DCP walls serve as a structural system and how this technology may shape the next generation of sustainable construction in Canada.
