Description:
The 2nd International Conference on Mineral Carbonation for Cement and Concrete will be held at the University of Tokyo in Tokyo, Japan, on September 28-30, 2026.

Soliciting abstracts for an oral presentation and poster session at the conference. The manuscript should be no longer than two A4 pages and fit one of the conference themes. Themes include: carbonatable binders, carbon dioxide (CO2) treatment of solid wastes, carbonation hardening of concrete products, carbonation enhancement of supplementary cementitious materials, CO2 activation of waste powders, direct air carbonation, mechanism of mineralization process, and life cycle assessment and CO2 uptake quantification.

Abstracts must be written following this template MC3_abstract_template_ver.1.docx. Abstracts can be submitted on the conference website.

Submissions are due by March 31, 2026.
