Description:
A Nondestructive Testing Specialist –Concrete Strength, is a person who has demonstrated the knowledge and ability to properly perform specified tests on hardened Concrete. This program requires demonstration of the knowledge and hands-on skills covered in the Job Task Analysis (JTA). The program requires a strong working knowledge of the ASTM test methods and practices as listed.

This 2-day session includes the following:

Day 1 – A review of the program workbook contents in the morning, followed by a practice session in the afternoon.

Day 2 – Administration of the exams. The written exam begins at 8 am and participants will then proceed to the practical hands-on portion of the exam.

The 90-minute written examination is closed-book and consists of approximately 70 multiple-choice questions. There are eight to twelve questions on each of the ASTM test methods and practices.

It is strongly suggested that you obtain and review the contents of the Nondestructive Testing Specialist – Concrete Strength workbook (CP-92) and the relevant ASTM standards at least two weeks in advance of the review session, for self-study.
