The objective of this session is to provide a high-level review of ACI’s codes, guides, and other documents for the benefit of students, young professionals, and others who want to learn more about how their involvement can make an impact.
Learning Objectives:
(1) Understand how ACI documents are made by committee and published;
(2) Understand the differences between codes, guides, notes, and other types of documents created by ACI;
(3) Learn about how different end-users (e.g., engineers, contractors, materials suppliers) interact with these documents;
(4) Students and Younger Members will learn how they can get started with interacting with these documents.
