Committee Mission: To advance the understanding of how concrete with alternative types of cement, including type 1L, impacts the performance and durability of concrete anchorage systems, ensuring safety, reliability, and sustainability in modern construction.
Goals: 1. To assess the impact of alternative cements compared to traditional Portland cements on anchor capacity (all failure modes). 2. To assess how the compressive strength profile over time affects the anchorage performance. 3. To investigate the impact of long-term durability of anchorage to concrete utilizing alternative cement types. 4. To determine if alternative cements effect the bonding agents used for adhesive and grouted anchors. 5. Propose standards or guideline changes to the main 355 committee based on TG work.
