345 - Bridge Construction and Preservation

Committee Mission: Develop and report information on construction, maintenance, and repair of concrete bridges.

Goals: 1) Create and update state-of-the-art technical documents regarding the construction or preservation of concrete bridges. 2) Present and/or report on recent advances in bridge construction, e.g., Accelerated Bridge Construction (ABC), ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC), or polymers and fiber-reinforced polymers (FRP) for bridges. 3) Collaborate with related entities, e.g., PCI, AASHTO, NCBC, ASCE-SEI, to advance the durability, resilience, sustainability, and economy of concrete bridges.
