Q. When can the finishing procedure be started? A. The finishing procedure should be started as soon as possible after bleeding has stopped and the concrete has stiffened to a degree that the surface does not close upon texturing. This typically coincides with the time of initial setting of concrete. Finishing needs to be completed before the time of final setting of concrete.
