Committee Mission: Develop and report information on nondestructive techniques for the evaluation of concrete.
Goals: 1) Revise ACI 228.1R; In-Place Methods to Estimate Concrete Strength; 2) Revise ACI 201.1R; Guide for Conducting a Visual Inspection of Concrete in Service as new document ACI 228.3R; 3) Establish certification program for NDT Technicians (through ACI 601-F); 4) Administer ACI James Instrument Award.
