376S - Structural Concrete Code for Refrigerated Liquefied Gases


Committee Mission: Develop and maintain code requirements for structural concrete used for storage and containment of refrigerated liquefied gases at service temperatures to -300 degrees Fahrenheit that can be referenced by NFPA 59A**, and other codes, industry standards and project specifications. ** NFPA 59A Standard for Production, Storage, and Handling of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), by the National Fire Protection Association.

Goals: Develop the recently completed second edition of the 376 Code into an international document. Specific activities include: 1) Reformat the 376 Code to follow ACI 318 format as much as possible. 2) Incorporate the Appendix D membrane tank requirements into the main body of the Code.
