Committee Mission: Develop a guideline intended to outline the approach and general procedures for the assessment and repair of historic concrete. This guide should be used in conjunction with ACI 364.1, Guide for Assessment of Concrete Structures before Rehabilitation and ACI 562, Code Requirements for Assessment, Repair, and Rehabilitation of Concrete Structures and Commentary, and follow the intent of the Secretary of Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation.
Goals: Create an approach-based guideline intended to outline the approach and general procedures for the assessment and repair of historic concrete. Collaborate with ACI concrete committees with interests in historic concrete, ICRI, Association for Preservation Technology, and other organizations.
