Abstract: I reviewed some aspects of "Curing of Concrete" at the Tuthill Symposium and noted that "much concrete receives no overt treatment intended to constitute curing and … nevertheless appears to behave satisfactorily in service." I did not discuss those cases where something was done overtly in the name of curing and the concrete nevertheless behanved unsatisfactorily.
