Abstract:
Analysis and design of large diameter circular roof slabs for cylindrical underground tanks and reservoirs having central column supports are de-veloped. Curves for radial moments, moments atedge of column capital, tangential movements, and column loads are given, and use of the curves is illustrated by a typical example.
