Abstract:
A general discussion of the problem of concrete durability. The various components of concrete, the method of handling, placing, finishing, and curing and the interrelationship of these factors and the effects of each considered. The character of the concrete are Methods of studying durability in the laboratory and the field and some of the variables to be evaluated in such studies are briefly presented.
