Abstract:
The new type of arch dam proposed has been evolved to avoid the many designs existing in the usual arch dam. Uncertainties consists of a series of arches, the main frame points by cantilevers. each arch ported at various butts against solid rock at each end, Independently from each other also each cantilever can be made to reach solid rock independently of each other. Two stems of beams, one horizontal the other vertical. Run in each panel formed by two consecutive arches and two consecutive cantilevers. Slabs, independent from each other, are cast against those beams.
