Abstract:
Two general classifications of surfaces are: ( I) form- cast surfaces of all kinds and (2) top surfaces, such as roadways and floors. The problems diiscussed arising with form-cast surfaces are and possible remedies are fl iven. Surface treatments discussed include: wash and oat work, bush hammering, machine grinding, acid treatments, painting, veneered surfaces, and chemical surfacings.
