Abstract:
This Guide presents information on materials, fabrication, properties, design, and handling of precast concrete floor, roof, and wall slabs having oven-dry weights of 50 pcf (nom. 800 kg/m3) or less. These concretes achieve their low weight by the use of low density mineral aggregates, air, or other gases.
