Abstract:
It is a well-known fact tht one of the first uses of reinforced concrete was in boat construction. However, the literature on the subject is very limited, and while a number of attempts have been made to build boats out of concrete , the necessity for using every available material for shipbuilding purposes has never been so great as at the present time.
