Abstract:
SP29 Emphasis is placed on the importance and acceptance of structural lightweight concrete on the construction scene. Increased interest in the use of lower density concretes, in some of the building systems developed to alleviate the housing shortage and the peculiar properties of these materials, such as energy absorption; which makes them attractive for uses other than conventional building construction, add to the significance of this publication.
