Abstract:A concrete slab with alternating horizontal elements connected by sloping elements is described and its design is worked out. It is intended primarily for roofs where an exposed ceiling is desired for economy. It may be used to span considerable distances, either as a simple span or as a series of continuous spans. Members deisnged to make maximum use of both concrete and steel.
