Abstract:
A recently proposed refinement of the effective modulus method, accounting for concrete agins, is formulated in a rigorus form and is extended to allow for the variation of an elastic modulus and an unbounded final value of creep. A numerical example is included to show the application of the proposed method in predicting creep effects.
