Abstract:
This paper shows how the strength of concrete can be easily predicted based on the fact that a given voids-solid cement index results in a specific value of compressive strength. Presented in graphical and nomographic form, a specified strength is shown to be obtainable for a range of air contents and water contents or water-cement ratios.
