Abstract:
Current design requirements for tensile anchorages of deformed reinforcement in grouted concrete masonry are reviewed. Results of a recently completed experimental and analytical investigation of anchorage capacity are used to develop specific recommendations for tensile anchorages of deformed reinforcement in grouted concrete masonry.
