Abstract:
This paper gives guidance for the development of a quality assurance system for both large and small concrete construction projects. The system involves the identification of quality objectives and their incarporation into a quality assurance plan which is implemented by project organizations through quality assurance programs. The system, as herein defined, is intended to permit the user latitude in judgment with respect to the owner’s needs, the defined quality goals, the importance of the project, the project size and complexity, and the skills of the involved project organizations.
