Discussion is centered around the topics of higher reinforcing steel yield strengths for many applications and the associated design provision changes; the addition of shotcrete provisions; deep foundation provisions; seismic requirements for deep foundations and other applications; vertical seismic motions; nonlinear analysis for seismic design; modification to development length equations; and updated shear design provisions and equations. The course is based on recorded seminar presentations, and is included in the ACI University All-Access Digital Subscription. ACI Certificate Program The ACI Certificate Program encourages concrete professionals to earn a certificate and digital badge in one of four specialty programs and gain in-depth knowledge about concrete materials, design, repair, or construction by following a defined online course of study. Certificate programs currently offered include: Fundamentals of Concrete Construction; Anchorage Design; Fundamentals of Concrete and Materials; and Repair Application Procedures.
