Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is to describe the salient features of reinforced-concrete products as applied to railway work, with special reference to those that are made in a well-organized and equipped plant and which, for the sake of brevity, will be styled "factory-made." It is also proposed to show how the development of the factory-made reinforced-concrete product has solved many of the construction, maintenance and economic problems of railway enigneering.
