Description:
This presentation by Calmetrix will focus on the design and uses of semi-adiabatic calorimeters that are designed to simulate the conditions of concrete flatwork. They are housed in a rugged case designed for portability that makes them ideal for troubleshooting or quality control in concrete plants, field work or in mobile labs. Compliant with ASTM C1753, these powerful yet affordable tools find uses in mix design, material incompatibility, quality control of raw materials, estimation of setting time and a portable diagnostic and troubleshooting instrument for admixture, cement or fly ash field technicians. Just recently, the ability to assess maturity has been introduced and will be discussed.
