Abstract:
Fibers are used to reinforce cementitious materials and to improve their pre- and post-crack behavior. This article highlights the use of fiber reinforcement to enhance durability of concrete structures, as well as benefits of using different types of fibers in projects up to 40 years in service, covering various applications in different geographic locations.
