The American Concrete Institute (ACI) has recently joined the National Concrete Bridge Council (NCBC) as an associate member, strengthening collaboration across organizations dedicated to advancing concrete bridge design, construction, and preservation. This webinar will highlight what ACI’s membership means for bridge owners, engineers, contractors, and transportation officials, with a focus on opportunities for engagement and access to technical resources. Participants will gain an understanding of the NCBC’s mission and the value ACI brings to the council, while exploring how this partnership supports knowledge sharing, standards alignment, and best practices for the bridge community. Selected ACI committee chairs will share insights from their areas of expertise, illustrating current priorities and challenges in durability, materials performance, structural behavior, and sustainability. The session will conclude by outlining practical ways transportation professionals can engage in ACI technical activities and benefit from collaborative learning opportunities made possible through NCBC membership.
