Abstract:
The Cube II is an office tower in Guadalajara, Mexico. As with the first Cube Tower, this new building was designed to be exceptional. The office levels are configured as two, triangular-shaped wings, tied to common core containing the vertical circulation, and inclined 4 degrees to the vertical. While the structural concept for the Cube II is obviously unique, it presents well defined mechanisms for load transmission.
