Parking Structures, Concrete


Parking structures are constructed using either cast-in-place post-tensioned concrete, cast-in-place non-prestressed concrete, or precast/prestressed concrete. Design considerations such as effects of geographic location and volume changes (which include elastic shortening, creep, shrinkage, temperature change, and restraint), are critical when designing and constructing a parking structure.
