Description

Chemical admixtures are essential in 21st-century concrete mixtures. Most concrete mix designs contain two or more chemical admixtures, ranging from basic water-reducers to advanced products that reduce or eliminate shrinkage. This session will highlight novel technologies recently introduced by leading chemical admixture manufacturers, especially the strength-enhancing admixtures that improve the performance of concretes made with blended cements.
