This module is based on two web sessions, “Blended Cements: Achieving Sustainability and Durability in Concrete Pavements” and “Green Streets,” from the ACI Fall 2010 Convention in Pittsburgh, PA, discuss the benefits of using blended cements and supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs) to improve durability and sustainability of pavements. Also shared will be case studies on some of the techniques used to make a “green street.”
