Description:
A certified Post-Installed Conc Anchor Install Insp is an individual who has demonstrated the knowledge required to properly inspect the installation of post-installed adhesive and mechanical anchors in concrete. The Inspector must understand the responsibilities and qualification requirements of the Installer, the inspection requirements as cited in the documents governing the construction of the project, and the process governing the qualification of anchor systems.
This program requires demonstration of the knowledge covered on the Job Task Analysis (JTA) for Conc Anchor Install Insp:
JTA for ACI Post-Installed Conc Anchor Install Insp Cert.
The JTA is a detailed list of specific points of knowledge that may be included in the exam for this ACI Cert program. ACI urges candidates to use the JTA to prepare for the certification exam.

This 2-day session includes the following:
Day 1 - A full day review of the program study packet and a demonstration of proper use of adhesive anchor systems (requirement of program). You will then self-study for 7 days.

Day 2 - One week later. Written exams will be held one week after the full day review session. You will sign-up for your exam timeslot at the review session. Exams take 3.5 hours to complete.
If you are signing up for exams only, your test timeslot will be 8 am.
It is strongly suggested that you obtain and review the contents of the Post-Installed Conc Anchor Install Insp reference pack (CP81) at least four weeks in advance of the review session/exams.
Please note: This is not training; it is a review program followed by written exams.
