Abstract:
Detailing a concrete structure for good construction performance is one of the most important factors toward achieving a successful concrete construction project. A construction-oriented design requires that the decisions of design and development be made with a high degree of consideration as to how the building will be constructed, specifically seeking : (1) a balanced time/task sequence between architectural concrete work and other concrete construction; (2) detailed work that is buildable.
