Abstract: An algorithm is presented for the analysis of rectangular columns subjected to axial loads and uniaxial or biaxial bending; this algorithm is then used to develop a computer program. By shifting and rotating the neutral axis, an exact interaction diagram is developed. An example is included to illustrate the design application of the computer program.
