Abstract:
Design of the Baha’i Temple was divided into two divisions foundation and superstructure. The superstructure was to be that portion of the build-ing above the first floor, the design to be preliminary in form, enough to determine structural reactions and loads. The substructure design was to be final. The structural desi n as presented in the article is similar to a log of the construction of the building.
